The Star Trek fictional universe created by Gene Roddenberry is the setting of six television series including the original 1966 Star Trek, in addition to ten feature films with an eleventh completed to be released on May 8, 2009. The franchise also extends to dozens of computer and video games, hundreds of novels and instances of fan fiction, several fan-created video productions, as well asa themed attraction in Las Vegas. Eugene Wesley "Gene" Roddenberry (August 19, 1921 – October 24, 1991) was an American screenwriter and producer.He is best known as the creator of Star Trek,an American sci-fi series known for its immense influence on popular culture.

Roddenberry was sometimes referred to as the "Great Bird of the Galaxy" in reference to his founding role in Star Trek. He was one of the first people to have his ashes "buried" in space.

George Hosato Takei Altman (born April 20, 1937 in Los Angeles, California) is an American actor, best known for his role in the TV series Star Trek, in which he played Hikaru Sulu, helmsman of the USS Enterprise and later captain of the USS Excelsior. Most recently, he played the father of Hiro Nakamura, Kaito Nakamura, on the NBC television show Heroes. Takei is also known for his baritone voice, and has been the announcer for The Howard Stern Show since January 9, 2006 when the show moved to SIRUIS Satellite Radio. In 2008, Takei came third place in the eighth series of the British reality series I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!

Grace Lee Whitney (born April 1, 1930) is an American actress and entertainer, also known as Ruth Whitney and Lee Whitney. She is most famous for playing the role of Janice Rand in a number of Star Trek television series and films.

I'm not exactly a fan of Star Trek, I've never catched that show in my entire life and I want to! It seems quite interesting.. Maybe, who knows after I watch it it might be my favourite show, and I'd be a fan of it? I mean, who really knows right? So Nuffnang give me this opportunity!
